Seems like we were gone for weeks, not a week. I had to laugh when I told H. she was able to pack her clothes for grandma’s house because when I opened her bag I found toys she rarely plays with. The funny part was she had a very clear reasoning for each item she packed. She has always been decisive, who am I to question her judgement when it comes to toys. Oh, the headlamp was perfect when running around the yard in the pitch back nights of the “country.”
In such a short time, seems like we did a lot. The weather couldn’t have been nicer (thankfully) so we were able to Copper County Cruise, go to the lake, have water balloon fights, and run. If you ask them what their favorite part of being at Grandma and Papa’s house they would probably respond with “everything.” So diplomatic 🙂 but they live to drive around the yard in Papa’s golf cart. Luckily, this year the youngest two kids didn’t try to hijack the cart and go for a joy ride on their own.
