Yesterday, the girls were complaining they didn’t know what to do…Oh the agony of being 6 and 8 years old. I sent them outside were they “played” with the neighbor kids. Playing these days seems to consist of sitting on the swings watching Youtube or Netflix video’s on an iTouch, drives me nuts!!!
At the time, I was working on the computer and could see them outside wondering aimlessly. I grab 2 Polaroid instant camera’s, loaded them with Impossible Project sample film, and my Diana F+ camera with an attached instant back. Each girl was given their own camera, shown how to take a picture and shield the film when ejected then sent them on their way. Think Creatively!!
One Pack of PX70 film ended up being completely over exposed. It was sample film so I didn’t expect every image to turn out then when I saw the girls walking around with the image face up unshielded from the light, over exposed was to be expected. Here is what did turn out:
Below images were taken By H. with the Diana F+ with Fuji film. She did surprising well considering I have a hard time with getting good images with this camera. 🙂
They all loved taking the pictures and were super excited to see them develop. We are going to be doing this again, next time with iPhones, then dSLR’s to get more practice at exposure, composition, and creativity.
