These images will not blow your socks off! But if these were a second batch of cookies, I think people would still enjoy eating them. 🙂
A few weeks ago we took a drive North to Chris’ grandmothers farm, where he stores his boat motors. Normally, I would have stayed home, because as excited you all can image I would be over boat motors, your wrong. This time I tagged along because I knew I wanted to revisit the barn through the lens of the Holga.
I have to admit, after the past failure with the Holga, I didn’t think it was going to be a relationship I wanted to be involved in. I have other cameras which shoot 120 film I adore, what did I really need the Holga for? But now it’s starting to grow on me. It’s a small and lightweight camera that I find follows me throughout the house like a lost puppy not really sure where it belongs. Today, the Holga has found a place on my camera shelf. It’s such a no brainer camera, funny I can say this now. Point, shoot, advance, then repeat. As I sit here typing, I’m trying to think where I will take this camera next to shoot. It needs to go somewhere warm and full of color!
ps. Following the advice from Jake, I made sure to use my flash this time. What a difference one little light bulb can make. REMEMBER TO TURN THE FLASH ON!! 🙂
