This past weekend one of our Tae Kwon Do families hosted a picnic for the competition teams on their farm. To describe their farm as being well cared for is an understatement, it’s gorgeous! They make farming look easy and desirable, but I can’t even image the amount of hours spent in a day pulling weeds, feeding animals, and cutting grass to make it look as easy as they do. The few hours we did spend on the farm, it was a reminder of my childhood, the hours spent at my grandparents playing in the grass, under trees and picking vegetables in the garden. Thank you Fairbanks for having us all, for the green beans, and the wonderful memories.
