A few weeks ago, I was asked if I wanted to try out a new service to print out Instagram pictures in to mini books. I thought, “sure why not.” Then I looked through my Instagram account and thought “what in the world am I going to be able to print without looking really inconsistent?” While away at my parents last week I decided I wanted to capture the “roses.” We never just casually drive to my parents. 9-10 hours is a long time to sit in the car with kids, the fast we get to our destination the better. This time, it was just the girls and I, i made sure we stopped and enjoyed the journey.
This past Saturday I received my first Prinstabooks album filled with the images along the journey to grandma’s house. Here is my review of these little treasures.
- Wonderful colors
- High quality image resolution
- Great price
- Fast shipping and service
- Easy to use uploading software
- the separate prints were a bonus!
- Wish there was a custom cover page to the album
- The holes for the binding could impede on part of the image so be aware of image placement.
I’ll admit when the package arrived I was a tad surprised at how small the book actually was, which isn’t a con I had simply imagined it would be bigger for some unknown reason. Maybe because the images of other people’s Prinstabooks seemed so much bigger in the picture. 🙂 The prints are about 4″ x 4″ in size. Here is the best thing in my opinion… the holidays are right around the corner. What better gift than to make aunts, uncles, grandparents, & spouses a book. I was thinking I make use/take photos with negative space and use them as little journals to write thoughts to my kids then they can have them when they are old enough to keep them safe. 🙂 The possibilities are endless. If nothing else, they are a wonderful way to have a physical memory of photos captured on our phones.
